I've been to busy to take pic's so I've not added anything in a long time... With kiddo's a bit grumpy, I was up late last night and thus, had a few minutes between baby issues to snap photos of the nights "work"...

1. CDC and deer hair caddis - that orangy color works great on a few of my favorite local streams...

2. Picket Pin wet - my favorite wet fly for sure. The streamer version is a smoke show as well!

3. A creation of mine from 20 years ago that still fishes well - named "the little red nymph". It's just a basic, easy to tie little nymph, but man it works well in a variety of sizes and situations.

Congrats on the new vice, Tom! Looks like it does a nice job.

ChefBen, I love that congo hair shrimp. I ordered some for the first time last week, so I'm anxious to get it an try that and some of the other patterns I've seen over in the Saltwater section.

Thanks! You'll love it. I have some patterns on my blog as well as the salt water section. If you need any pointers shoot a PM Id be glad to help you out if I can!

These are what I've been working on. I've only been tying for about 2 weeks now so I'm pleased with what I got.

more of them.

Those Higa's were tough for me as I've never tied anything that small and never used dubbing before. They're on #16 hooks btw.

Thanks Lykos, I chase a lot of tail race trout in the winter when shad get spit out through the dam. Came up with this last night. Woke up at 2am with this in my head. Had to go tie it. I think it will crush them but will have to field test it. I'll let you know how I do.
