I like that hackle, haven't seen or used that material before, I could image it doing quite well on the bass, if I were you I might trim it down into more of a body

 

Finally getting some valuable bench time, so here's a little something to enjoy. A Rubber Bugger using Montana Fly's Rubber Hackle. On a #1 hook. I think the bass will like it.
