NOVEMBER FLIES

Recommended Posts

Man, any one else notice that this thread gets better and better from month to month!?

Well, here is my humble addition to the thread! A mayfly, simple, easy, and effective!

Enjoy!

Thank You and Tight Lines,

Feeling a bit rusty as i had not used the vice for a few days. Some nice chocolate streamers, quite bushy and not sparse. Almost Caroline (ish).

Slumming it at the moment with materials, got these 3 flies from 1 pair of bronze mallard, 6/0 thread...

Not what i sat down for tonight, had lovely goose slips all lined up and measured ready for a married wing attempt *again*. I swear the feathers will never marry unless i glue them together lol, anyway i destroyed 2 feathers and swore a whole load and went back to my mallard. Is it really true feathers will marry or is it some great big hoax?!

Even still, i am rusty! Oh those days!

I'll swing these instead.

Great looking flies! Feather Marriage is illegal in most states, not sure about Canada though.
