For years I have exclusively used custom built rods from Midwest Custom Fly Rods. Steve has been a close friend for a very long time and to this day I am astonished and some of his creations. He has recently launched his own “Warrior Series†line of prebuilt rods that can be purchased immediately instead of waiting to have him custom build a rod. Like his custom rods the Warrior Series rods have his own unique style and amazing details that you can’t find on rods sitting on a shelf in a fly shop.
