JANUARY flies

Recommended Posts

This is a New Year's gift to my Grand Nephew who is with the Oregon Ducks Football team at the Fiesta Bowl. The flies are the colors of each of the PAC 12 Schools.

Which one? The diver is a crosscut collar with regular tail, the others are regular rabbit and arctic fox.

what size did you tie the deerhair on? That looks a good pattern for my seatrout. A little like a Jambo fly.

FlyFishin'Jam posted a fly with acrtic fox tail and Hans posted some with a dubbed tag of thread ribbing the body so I spruced up my regular Goats toe pattern and got to say I think it looks great.

yeah I know what you mean. I read on another forum, " stick deer hair muddler head in front and it's a goats todger"

Not sure if todger translates across the water?
