rockworm 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2013 No yelling required. Not only are you prompt, but like your predecessors keeping to the straight-and-narrow.
natedubay 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2013 Professori, Maybe if you weren't bragging about all your polar bear hair and the flies you tie with them you would have been on time. I can't believe you held us up an hour and a half...

rockworm 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2013 Very nice! We are at the halfway mark and so far this has been a very subtle and orderly evolution. But what wild mutations will Sjo wreak upon our poor little Gilly?
rockworm 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2013 In view of professori's near miss of his deadline, I have added cencalfly to our list of tyers as a backup. If someone misses his 48 hr deadline by more than 90 minutes that person will be reassigned as backup and cencalfly's name will be placed at the end of the list of active participants. Everyone waiting their turn will move up one place.

mybadhabit 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2013 As much time as Piker spends on this site, I truly doubt he'll miss his deadline. Oh and if you have more than 1 dropout, count me in please. Thanks Blane
rockworm 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2013 Another nice pattern from Sjo. I do like those paraloops! Blane- you are officially backup #

rockworm 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2013 Dezod, your time has come!
Dezod 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2013 I bet the over under for me to miss the deadline was higher than most, in fact with all the time I spent at work the last week I would surely have missed the deadline if it were not for a kind PM from piker... So thanks Piker for the heads up. I also always assume that flies want to evolve from nymphs to dry flies, and we were almost there, but piker seems to have taken us back from the emerging realm into the abyss. Here is my contribution: "Black Gold" Nymph Hook: #12 scud Thread: Orange Abdomen: tan and brown dubbing mixed Rib: Gold tinsel (gave up wire a while ago) Thorax: brown dubbing Wing case: epoxy coated black thin skin, gold tinsel (from rib) Beard: grizzly Please let me know if this evolution is too radical C
rockworm 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2013 Thank heavens! I was afraid you were going to do some variation on Ellie May's double-barreled slingshot. Natedubay is up to bat.
rockworm 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2013 I am sorry to say Hooked01 has had to drop out of this swap. That means cencalfly has moved up to the active list!
