mikechell 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2013 I heard on the radio today: That elk has already been involved in 26 other reports of "attacking" humans. They've tried to run it off several times. A couple of days after this video, the Park Rangers killed it, supposedly before it actually hurt someone.
Horseshoes 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2013 Is that called a preemptive strike?
mikechell 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2013 Could be, Horseshoes. I think it's just another proof that there's too many people.
Horseshoes 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2013 We have killer coyotes in our province. Apparently our coyotes mated with our wolves, so they are a bit bigger and a lot more aggressive. Our problem is that people are going in the woods without any training about survival or wildlife encounters. Our worst is a moose on the road. It is the equivalent of driving into a brick wall, most people turn off the road, you have a better chance of survival.
