mikechell 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2015 You, sir, have way too many bird skins !!! Well, not TOO many ... you do have the proverbial boatload, though. Nice identification chart you have there. You don't mind if I download those for my personal use, right? I don't have a blog or even a Facebook account. troutguy 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2015 Person use is why I posted. A few years ago one of the members was posting a blog with advertisers/sponsors and used photos. I love bird hunting and I have Borax. I have one serious Brittany and one I am training. Hope is the orange Brit. Abby is a large liver and white Brit. I have shot grouse, quail, duck and many woodcock over Hope. Sad thing is quail are so scarce and grouse are very scarce down in SC. I have a NC license basically just for grouse and they are not common there either. Fire ants, development and farming changes have diminished the quail here. The coot was a gift from one of the board members here.

vicrider 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2015 Very nice pics and listing of skins most of us either use regularly or wish we had. Didn't see the jungle cock skins tho. Guess there aren't many of those in SC either.

Stevester 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 I feel like a slacker, I only have about a third of the skins shown. Of course I have to buy my birds, I haven't really hunted since I was in my early twenties. Too much moving around and then ended up in an area with limited opportunities. Nice collection though.
