Hopper Dropper Swapper

Recommended Posts

SWAP IS FULL

June is the month I'm usually tying up my terrestrials to get ready for the rest of summer and the beginning of autumn. When I'm fishing a terrestrial, more often than not, I'll have a dropper hangin' off... you know, just in case.

I came up with swap for another forum two years ago and everyone had a blast so I'd like to bring it over here!

The rules are simple. Everyone ties two flies per entrant. One must be a terrestrial of some sort... doesn't necessarily have to be a Hopper. The other can be whatever you like to drop. Nymph, wet, emerger, drowned terrestrial, soft hackle, bugger, you name it...

The standard rules apply as well.

1. All flies must be sent with accompanying return postage.

2. All flies must be received by the due date of JULY 15TH, 2015

3. Everyone must have fun.

This swap is open to 10 tyers including myself and all skill levels. If you're interested, just let me know which patterns you'd like to tie.

1. Michael ray - Simple Pooky and my Hot Spot Sow.

2. Joe - Received

3. DavidHE - Schroeder's Parachute Hopper, Prince Variant - Received

4. Add147

5. Triple_B - Amy's Ant - Received

6. djd3mon - Cricket, Bead Head Pheasant Tail - Dropped due to misunderstanding

7. branden_fritzemeier_67 - Received

8. Vicrider

9. RogueFlies - Received

10. Pica - Received

Have some fun with this one!

Remember to send your flies with a self addressed return envelope and proper return postage.

Send flies to:

Michael Spencer

1041 Crystal Bay Ct

Ukiah, CA 95482

Lookin' forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!
