October Monthly swap pictures

Recommended Posts

Short one swapper but a couple of extras make a full set of nice orange themed flies. Couple of stimulators in there which I like as an upper fly over a nymph or wet fly. Makes me feel less like I'm fishing with a bobber.

Here's one from add 147

And I had to break this thread and admit I think I lost the J-Kno picture. He sent us a nice fly but didn't get the pic. Sorry J-Kno

So here's the rest, beginning with two from netabrookie

And I did a weave, then got a new orange grizzly hackle so did a 16 crackleback

They should be on there way this afternoon. Each month is falling a little behind. Maybe we should make this an 11 month swap so we can finish the year caught up with everything.

Nice little set of flies, brookies do like orange most days, hopefully I'll get to use them next spring, weather is cooling off pretty quick.

Mine came in today, and these are some fine flies. I am always impressed by the quality of the flies in the swaps, and these are no exception.

Got mine in today, beautiful set, I love the orange soft hackles, some of my favorites. Netabrookie's stimulator is much more finely crafted than mine, and should do better in slower water, mine might float in a class 5 rapid.

kennebec12, I think yours would be great to float a smaller beadhead so I can pretend I'm not using a bobber.
