caloosa bug 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2016 Found some size 4 ewg worm hooks at wallgreens today. I had no idea they made worm hooks this small. Figured I'd try a new weedless frog pattern, based on a larger one, that did me well last weekend.

Bimini15 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2016 Norm, How long does it take you to tie one of those streamers? When you paint the head, do you use colored nail polish?

flytire 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2016 How long does it take me to tie the streamers? The bodies don't take that long to tie. The wings can take some time to tie because I try to position them the best I can. The rainy day special has a painted head which I used acrylic paint and dried it with a blow dryer. Then a quick coat of us resin. But all in all I'll take about a half hour to one hour to tie one up.
