Just some simple Wooly Buggers using Cohen's Carp Dub in a dubbing loop for the body. very similar to a "secret" fly I've been using for a long time with great success on many species... I tend to use a relatively fine wire standard shank TDE hook, like a standard dry fly Mustad 94840 or equiv, a marabou tail equal to the shank length, a matching ice dub body, and a bead. It's so dead simple that I don't even talk about it. Like most things. Sometimes I don't match the body and marabou... I've had some amazing crappie fishing on a white tail with pink body.
