Hello,

I live in East Cental Indiana and have been fly fishing for four or five years, mostly blue gill and smallmouth. I am ready to take the next step, as fly fishing alone isn't costing me quite enough money! I hope to learn a lot from you guys and will try not to ask too many stupid questions, lol.

I am a true believer that there are no stupid questions. If you have a question, then it needs be asked ... and that means it isn't a stupid question.

There might be inappropriate questions ... but we usually encourage those !!!

 

Fly tying doesn't need to drain the bank ... and can be a lot of fun without using expensive equipment or materials.

But the fact that you are choosing fly fishing and tying as hobbies tells me you are not one of them, so ask away... and welcome to the forum.

Welcome Philo! No stupid questions here so ask away. We have a "Beginner's Corner" sub-forum, but any and all questions are encouraged on all the forums.

 

I'm in West Michigan (Holland to be precise), so not far from you. If you ever get up this way to sample our excellent fisheries, feel free to give me a shout.
