Knew I rushed this guides choice hares ear variation. When finished I saw I missed the wire ribbing. Done in record time for me even considering I missed that step.

Chugbug, Thanks. The body and wing are made from florescent floss. Deconstructed down to two fibers each, well waxed. Body tied with the two colors turned on together keeping them flat and touching. Sz14 was single fiber in same way.

Fshng2, great tie! That makes me want to size that way down and change the mop to orange for an alevin pattern.

If you guys keep elevating mop flies the way you are, pretty soon we are going to have select grade mop necks from the finest mops with lineage that goes back to Big Bird... :)
