xvigauge 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2019 This is my version of the "George" nymph. I have made just a few modifications but it is still very close to the original. It was originally tied by Eddy George, Smoky Mountain resident, in the 1930's and though a staple nymph of the Smoky Mountain streams still today is little known elsewhere. mikechell 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2019 Um ... except you didn't tie up any clear/light tan colors. Any time I've been around salt water, on shallow, super clear, sand bottom waters, the shrimp and bait fish are very light colored, too.
