Hello all, i was just wondering what everyone thought of my patterne? I live in Florida and fish mostly for Redfish and Speckled Trout, and these are the patterns i tie the most. ***Sorry about the lighting***

Nice enough. Good blends of color. Good balance of proportion on hook.

Taper tails instead of stopping them square and flat. There are no square surfaces in nature.

Open the bellies on both. Reposition your body work with the belly dead against the hook shank so the epoxy doesn't shut down the gape. Move the eyes back a touch on the sand lance. Can't tell if you added a couple strands flash.

Nice flies, I agree with Dave to taper the tails instead of squared off. I don't use epoxy on any of my saltwater flies, too messy and I don't believe that it's necessary except on flies for toothy critters. My fly box is boring, only Clousers in chartreuse/white. laugh.gif
