Hook: size 14 jig

Bead: black nickel, 3.5mm tungsten (could probably go a size smaller)

Tail: fox squirrel guard hairs

Rib: olive tinsel twist (Fly Tyers Dungeon) single strand

Abdomen: mix of fox squirrel underfur and olive hare's mask (@50/50)

Thorax: course black synthetic wet fly dubbing

Hackle: fox squirrel guard hairs fixed in a split thread

Collar: course black synthetic wet fly dubbing -1/2 wraps max

Could be anything - caddis emerger, stonefly, spruce moth, etc. depending on size, color and how many cups of coffee consumed (2 here).  Original was tied with hen hackle legs, pheasant aftershaft used here just to see; your choice.  Here’s the SBS if you’re interested.

hook - Dai Riki 280  #16
thread - MFC 8/0  sand
underbody - opalescent mylar  medium
abdomen - midge tubing  tan
underwing - Midge Krystal Flash  pearl
wing - snowshoe rabbit foot  cream
legs - aftershaft feather (in split-thread)
head - snowshoe rabbit  cream (in split-thread)

Got new FeatherCraft wish book today thought about the humpies.  Foam wings!

Those are the kind of buggy nymphs I love. I'm going to tie a few of those in olive and PT brown as soon as I get a chance.

They did well for me this past week-end, in that color shown above,as well as a regular tan/brown with gold bead.
