cphubert 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2020 Went out to try a new rod but the water temp was 70 degrees early day so I ended up taking pictures of some stream life instead usual mix of caddis rockworms, cased caddis, hatched stoneflies, hellgrammites, crayfish, was surprised by the tadpoles this late in the year. mikechell 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2020 Actually, I don't think the frogs and/or toads ever quit trying to reproduce. If they're getting plenty to eat, and there's enough water, some of them are always making new babies. I know, if there's a good rain, and a puddle in my yard, it'll have baby Spring Peepers in it within a few days. Love the pictures of the aquatic life ... thank you for posting those.
