Packing foam sheets for wing.   Ain’t the most durable for fishing mostly gimmick that one...  CA glue the different colors together some before cutting some after.

Had to grind off the belts/rims off the 357 and 45/70

Dressed a few more....pre made fabric paint eyes scarfed off and glued on.  Kids hair fiber for tails w/hackles, flash.   Not all flipflops have stout enough foam.   Gotta be careful.  CA glued bodies to hooks.   Some thread wrapped hooks first some not.  Make sure they’re stout before dressing.👍

Anyone for Orange.....maybe use these bodies with some fox squirrel tail for dressing...

As much of how I’ve wished for fox squirrels to get on my little piece of earth, this is the second one that seems to have tried to migrate from an area to my east that has good numbers and they just can’t handle road traffic.  He was lil male and just saved the tail.  Stripped, split and salted it for now.   Oh well. I feed’em good to enhance them to come but my road is filled with speed demons....Huge Nuttall red oak acorns I get from different places I put at my creek feeder in hopes...Years ago put few nest boxes high as I could go with a tree climber but they are gone.  Shoulda built outa permanent stuff.   You’d be surprised what gets in boxes.  Honeybees got in 2.   Saw good many lil grays come outa them.   They say hollow trees/hard nests are better than leaf dens for success.    Up the road always in the M’isipiDelta they have the black phase of the gray squirrel.   Posted on M’isipi page and guy sent me some black tails.  Sent his son boxe of flies....spacer.png
