Tail: EP fiber, Everglades 3-d

Striping: Sharpie marker, brown

Flash: Firefly flash, gold

Body: Pearl Chenille, medium, brown

Eyes: Bead chain, brass, medium

Head: Tinsel Chenille, red

Weedguard: Mono, 25lb

Is it a minnow, is is a shrimp? Who knows? A redfish will eat it though...

Mostly because I don't have partridge! Just hen saddle at the moment.

Wally Wing Mayfly (Olive)

Hook: Dry fly #14

Thread: Uni-Thread 6/0, olive

Tail: Hackle tips, lt. dun

Body: Goose biot, olive

Wing: Mallard flank, natural

Hackle: Cape, lt. dun

First attempt at the wally wing style. interesting wing that will take a bit of tweaking to get good at, but looks to produces a beautiful result when done right.

Body. ....... Hare’s ear lightly dubbed
Thorax. ...... Orange seal & rabbit
Hackle. ...... Red grouse. one side of hackle stripped

If I had to choose between a half dozen different color hen backs or one partridge skin for the same price, I'd go with the hen backs.

I'll take a dozen, please!  If you could get them here by Saturday morning I would appreciate it, the predicted 40 degree weather is my winter fishing cue.      

That softer green background nicely shows off your fly.

Bead - Brass or tungsten in gold, silver, black etc

Thread - Your favorite color

Tail - Coq de Leon feather fibers

Ribbing - Silver, gold, copper wire

Body - Tying thread

Thorax - Ice dubbing in pink, orange, yellow etc

Add a band of hot orange thread behind the bead if desired
