Bimini15 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2021 Nice clouser. So clean, almost delicate, but the hook looks the business.
DFoster 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2021 2 hours ago, Sandan said: @Moshup , @DFoster Soft hackle goodness, nice! @SBPatt excellent as per usual! Thanks- I just got a couple packs of firehole hooks, they've been out of stock and are a late Christmas present from my daughter. They're really nice hooks in general but exceptionally nice for soft hackles. I'm struggling with the temptation to tie more but my soft hackle box is pretty full at the moment. @SBPatt Scott your deer hair work is second to none. Absolutely perfect! By the lower picture it looks like it's in the top row right and by the size of you thumb looks like it's an 18-22 hook so that also matches a midge size. I think the A.K. best McKensie is pretty rare as are the accessories. Nice! So far I found the clip, and a pedestal with the clip. Working on trying to find the bobbin, bobbin holder and a couple of other things.

My youngest daughter Ally, who is in Veterinary Medicine School at WSU , in Pullman, bought me some tying goodies for Xmas and told me that it was time to get back on the horse... Xmas gift.. Some #18 (TMC 2488H) HOT VAC's with thread bodies, I tied up on Saturday. I will be setting up my photo area and shooting individual pics soon... PT/TB I always enjoyed your posts. Looking forward to more.
