My notes say we caught a little over 125 fish, the biggest was a 22 1/2 inch rainbow. Kept 11 for eating. Thanks for looking.

Nice Mark, almost makes me want to ice fish.  Almost.

With my new ceiling fan and heater, our ice fishing doesn't require any suffering. It's about 70 degrees in the house and we don't even have to skim any ice out of the holes.

still waiting for the lockup, getting impatient may have to travel.

I am sorry for you. You southern folk have it rough.

👍..Mark did you do any good with flies?

While they are not flies per se, we are all using my hand tied jigs. I fish a marabou minnow imitation in one hand with no bait and nymph with bait in the other hand. I catch most of my fish and almost all the big ones on the unbaited minnow.

While I am not a fan myself of ice fishing, I do have to admit that does look like a great time. Nice looking bows Mark, bet you guys had a blast 😎

I have done lots of ice fishing where I would wonder why I like it. I practice No-Suffering Ice Fishing now. We do have a blast.

I was wondering, that spear fishing pic on the wall in your shanty with the giant pike. Was that one you guys took?

No, that's a poster that was given to me by a friend. It's something someone painted.

Looks way too cold for this Coloradan.  It does look like a good time was had by all though

That's warmer than I keep my house. Guess those looks are deceiving. 😎

Yeah, the last picture is of the first fish I caught one morning. That was just a few minutes after we got to the house, It looks pretty frosty in the house. Most of the other pictures show us in much less clothing, after things warmed up a bit. We're actually having a very mild winter up here. For the most part it's hovered around zero all winter. Not too bad really. Our holes haven't even been freezing up over night with the hole covers on them.
