Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2021 Decided to do some big changes in the shop / office...again, remodel #871 I think it is? Kind'a weird because I hate change, but my shop/office seems to be ever evolving mainly because I keep making changes to make my work & hobbies better/easier/more enjoyable. Cut the L shaped desk and moved it 90 degrees the opposite way as well as moved a lot of other things around which really opened it up a lot more than it was. Seems to be much more "usable" area now. Think I am gonna like it like this.

Bimini15 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2021 Steve, you are the only person I know that rearranges their office at least twice a year.
Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2021 Yeah lol Always tryin to make it better though. I think this latest revamp is gonna be a winner. Before it had a good deal of not really wasted space, but more of "inconvenient" space. Because of the size of my office chair at my desk and location of the desk it was hard to get around it and use it much. Much easier now, I think I'll like this one....till 6 months from now 😆
mikechell 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2021 I'm surprised you haven't figured out a way to lower the floor or raise the house, to get the ceiling of your mancave/basement a little farther away from your head.

To raise the ceiling, walk on your knees.

Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2021 That pic there is just storage for my own personal rods. I build them at the workbench that is in pic #
