Upstate 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2021 I'm getting ready to build some wooden landing nets. Anybody have a reliable source for quality rubber or mesh landing net bags? Thanks, John

SilverCreek 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2021 I suggest getting a shallow bag "catch and release" type bag that does not bend the fish when you net it. One source is the "measure net" bag. https://measurefish.com/t/net-bags
skeet3t 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2021 Nice net and great idea but my fish wouldn't fit in it.

I searched but was not able to find any replacement bags for the size of net you need. You could go to Frabill and see if they will sell you just the net bag. https://www.frabill.com/power-stow-knotless-net
skeet3t 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2021 Actually my net is bigger than that bag. And that fish was the smallest of the day.
Bryon Anderson 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2021 I've been building and selling nets for a year or so now, and this is the source I use for my net bags. https://flyfishingnets.net/collections/for-net-makers/products/copy-of-rubber-net-bags All of his stuff is U.S. made, high quality, and very reasonably priced. If you're just hetting started building nets, his instructional DVD is very helpful too.
