The Daiichi 1480 is the same hook with a bronze finish . The Alec Jackson's were made by Daiichi but I do not think they are available now. They have a lovely chrome finish.

Thanks the reference @upstatetrout!  I was able to find some of the Alec Jackson North Country and the Alec Jackson Soft Hackle variety.  I think I will try them out.

toothy, your flies are inspiring, as are upnorthtiers also. Man I loved those pike streamers! I’m trying to figure out how to post some pics, I’m going take shot at it.

@upnorthtier "wow nice flies. I guess bourbon enhances the vision"

Thanks. Depending on how much bourbon you get to tie or at least see two flies for every one.

Okay, I’m getting better with my IPhone camera and IPad. I have been very impressed with all the flies posted on here, especially toothy’s Hendricksons and upnorthtiers pike streamers. So here is a size 20 bwo cripple loosely based on Rene Harrops pattern.

Hook- tiemco 100 size 20.

Thread- 16/0 olive veevus

Tail- mallard flank

shuck- brown antron

body- olive polish quill

wing- natural trout hunter cdc

hackle- medium blue dun

Thanks for looking, Mike.
