MuskyFlyGuy 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2021 My wife and I floated a section of the upper St. Croix today with a guide. Beautiful weather today with mostly blue skies. We had a little action today and I landed a 37” musky today on a 12 weight rod Steve built. The fish hit hard and was very active. The rod worked great and I fished with it for about 4 hours. The rest of the float I used several 10s. I have some more floats this fall and hope to catch some more. The fly was one of mine tied on a 5/0 hook with an articulated shank in front.
