mikechell 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2021 I grew up riding trains ... Dad was a conductor for the Pennsylvania Railroad Co. It's a GREAT way to travel. Be sure to pay the extra for a sleeping cabin, your guaranteed a window seat and you can lie down if you get sleepy. The diner car usually has great food, too. On the other hand, what part of Florida might you be house hunting in? I can detail where to and where NOT to around Volusia, Orange and Seminole Counties. Comes to about 6 unruly passengers per 10,000 flights. So, one of every 1,667 flights, on average. I think you're still safe to fly.
skeet3t 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2021 IMHO, one is too many...especially if it is on my flight. Circumstances now don't warrant flying to anywhere until spring.

flykid 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2021 Trains sure are a cool way to go. I haven't gone too far on one, just to Chicago from Michigan City, IN. But I always enjoyed that trip and am slightly fascinated by rail transportation.
The Mad Duck 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2021 Wife and I spent a week on a domed, glass topped train touring Alaska. What a great trip that was. The scenery was spectacular
