After a recent rejection from Orvis (due to tough economic times) to begin tying courses at a local store, it would seem I'm trying to "get my fix" by other means. This has led me into the pursuit of expanding my efforts into tying more creative, realistic and effective flies as well as targeting other species in various bodies of water. I'm a firm believer in Entomology and Ichthyology as key influences for developing flies but I also enjoy tying patterns that not only entice bites but do so consistently. But, when I'm not found on the water, you'll find me with the ones I love or with headphones on and the amplifier cranked to 11! lol
