  1. With me that makes 6 total so you need 5 unless we get one more. I would like 6. Plan for that and if we don't get the sixth by the weekend we go with what we have.As far as a date what about 29 OCT.

Okay Kevin, I'm good with that. Maybe you can invite someone personally? To fill up 6th place?

And this reply is for making the giant step of the 100th post!

  3. Sjo and professoir I got your flies today. I sent a PM to Johny Utah and Steelhead-hunter. If I don't hear back in a few day I will divide and ship.

    Kevin

    Glad they are there.

Now I have to find out how to convert that money.

    Kevin

Glad that mine are there too, sorry that I did not send you Euro's :) Thank you again for your patience and your friendship!!

Good to hear you got the flies and leader. I haven't had a chance to try out your mono leader yet- but hope to use it soon. Thanks for participating in this swap- I will certainly let you know when I host my second swap.

I hope to hear soon that Sjo has received his Evo-Set.

Yes, I got mine too! What a nice display of this Swap. I'm proud to have had the honour of being part of something like this!

  5. I'm sure everyone knows I love streamers. I have been thinking about tying some soft hackles. Would there be any interest in another soft hackle swap. I need more work with them and this would help.

    Kevin

I love soft hackle swaps. If you take Europeans, who can't get American stamps, I'd like to play. I will compensate the swapmeister for his costs for postage, Paypal, extra flies, materials, we'll sort it out!

  6. I went fishing with the family last weekend and let my 5 year old son pick through the 500 or so flies that for some reason I insist on lugging around with me. Anyway, he picked the fly you tied for the mystery material swap and it landed me a 2.8lb rainbow on the first drift through the pool!

Just thought you'd like to know your fly worked...

That's cool! Glad that they work for you too! Your son get's a good upbringing, I'm sure!

  7. That took a long while for a priority package to travel. Glad they made it.

No worries guys... Troutguy... Your well travelled buggers made it tonight!!

Won't be long guys and girls and we can put this one behind us :D

No hurry Dave, we just wait thid one out. I hope you will continue hosting, because you handle it well.

    Congratulations with your marriage!

  8. Glad to welcome any tiers. As long as you make sure you cover your postage. U.S. postage rates JUST went up. The international coupons worked, but typically were too little. Consider doubling your rate.

Our postage service in the netherlands don't have international coupons so we have to work something out with extra flies or materials or Paypal.

    Grtzzz...

  9. A Pink Parachute Indicator Post is a truly amazing new appendage! I have no trouble accepting this as a necessary adaptation for the newly-evolved parachute hackle. But I worry what future transformations might do to this innocent protuberance! (You don't think this has anything to do with professori's scandalous pink eel skin do you?)

I just hope if he plans on getting it wet he puts his eel skin on the pink post :hyst:

Hilarious, I really like what this swap is evolving into. Once Einstein said that a dirty mind is a joy forever! Or was it Clinton?

  10. Sorry Blue that I didn't respond in time.

I got two problems now, firstly I don't know how to make a decent picture and how to post it and secondly I allready sent the bunch to the swapmeister. Basicly they are small gray nymphs with a tiny piece off eel skin as wing cover.

You could indeed substitute this eel skin for any other wing cover, as you allready did.

When wet the eel skin softenes up and smells a little bit fishy, in my imagination that would be extra attractive to fish.
