Scott Stisser 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2006 I posted this to answer question in Fly Tying Bench. I strip the barbules off my quills and like long graguating fiber thickness. For this fly I simply used one of the long rooster hackles off the top of a Whithing rooster cape. I also will use the webby saddle feathers (that I don't use for much else) from Whinting's saddle patches, this is for really fine stem for such as midges. Hope this helps on old fart out...
