Irish 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2004 Soren, welcome and I had the pleasure of visiting your country last March. Flew into Stockholm and stayed downtown. walked around the old part of the town with the shops and visited the water front and had some of that really good beer Falcon was one I remember and class IIII at that. Then went up to Sandviken and toured Sandvic's Steel mill and the on to Tampere Finland and a visit to Tamrock facilities and a ride on the ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm. got to go the the Ship display and a tour of Stockholm. Things were just starting to change from winter to spring. Your signing on the board brings back some good memories. I did see a fly shop but was not able to stop. I did go to the hard rock cafe and the Harley Shop in Tampere. I did leave some smallmouth flies with the hosts of the tour. I had some of the best beer I have drank in your country. I spent St Patrick's Day in the Pickwick Pub in Stockholm. Great beer and even better food. If your flies are half as good then they are great. Welcome.
