Wow, that's a beautiful fly! The colors are great. I took a look at your ingredients and noticed that you used Birdfur. I've seen this material listed on other web sites, but have never worked with it myself. I had heard that Birdfur was from the same line of birds that Whiting was selling as Spey Hackle.

 

How do you like working with the Birdfur material? It looks very similar to marabou in texture.

Birdfir comes from Spey cape rejects?. 1st on 2nd gen birds I think. Ive only been tying flies about 20 months, so still learning things. I mixed it with some Rhea, and ostrich For an intruder pattern. I also tried a tube fly version (purple) Any suggestions??

Nice streamer! How did you get the stinger hook to sit so nice and straight? I've been trying stuff but I can't get the fly to ride right! :wallbash:
