siestafred 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2006 Jon Boy.... If it's working, you could ignore this. But I fish Clousers all the time in Florida, and the mantra is to keep the dressing sparse. Less is more, sort of thing. We tie ours with about half the bucktail you have in yours. You could also try adding a thin layer of tan bucktail between the pink and the white. Hope that helps ! Sean Juan 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2006 I don't know much about European Sea Bass, but someone once said they are a lot like Stripped Bass only without the stripes... Pink is an awesome color - I generally assume it has to do with the fish's perference for squid, but it could be anything really.
