SS-280 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2007 I have some Tiemco 300 size two hooks that I use for trout and am out of my go to hook for Egg Sucking Leeches. Would the Tiemco 300 be too light for steelhead? I am planning on tying some patterns for an upcoming trip to the Salmon river in upstate NY. Thanks
Joe Hard 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2007 They should work. If need be add some lead to the length of the shank if it is allowed. Right now they are the hook I use for my streamers, I have never had a problem with them.
