Ashby 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2007 Here are some pics I took with my Fujifilm F30. While my mom was out a week ago I took her to Mount Shasta. She has always wanted to see this mountain and who am I to tell her no. This picture is taken in digital zoom at over 102 miles away. Taken just south of Redding CA, I think for a digital zoom it did really well at that distance. This next one is called Black Butte Mountain. It stands along Interstate 5 beside Shasta. It stands a little over 8000 ft and is a perfect cone shape. The rest of these are of Shasta and all of her 14000+ feet of beauty. Hope you guys like the pics. Ashby 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2007 Glad you like the pics. I'm still learning to use the camera, it has a lot of functions on it, so a lot to get used to. As for the fishing, yes there is a ton of fishing up that way. In fact I'm going up to Deer Creek and Hills creek this next weekend I think. I scouted a little on those last week, and they are great looking little streams. Ashby
