cutthroat.trout 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2007 I recently changed my image that appears by my posts and when I view my posts in Firefox it is incorrect, yet in internet explorer it is fine. Also, there are many times where someone will post a photo in their topic, and others are complimenting it etc. but I can't even see that there was one to view... That's in either internet explorer or firefox. This second issue really is strange when it happens. The first issue I'm wondering if there's a web cache that isn't cleaning out entirely... ? cutthroat.trout 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I got my image to appear properly, it was as I suspected, Firefox had cached the original image and was trying to load it from memory. Even though I thought it was cleared out the cache image was still there I guess. I do still have the issue where an poster will announce he has put images in his post and I can't see them. It's only sometimes though, I suspect I can see images posted in some ways such as linked into a message from another site, but perhaps can't see images posted directly? Could be the opposite, or none of those situations. Anyway, I see posts, they say they have images, there are replies to the posts commenting on the images, yet I don't even see a placeholder or link etc. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
