flymanbill 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2008 i have tied an emerger using a goose biot or turkey biot for the body and a spun elk hair head and wing. i fish this on the cumberland river when trout are taking sub surface. sort of like a serendepity but with a biot body and a spun head wind is a few hairs from the elk floate in or just under surface. tied on a emerger hook @ 14 or 16.
