rich5665 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2009 I decided to try tying a Bead Head Chironomid based on an image I found on Google. I think the wire I used for the rib is the wrong size, it should have been finer, I used rabbit fur for the gills. I found another variation of this pattern, that I know I have most of the materials for. 3/32 Bead Copper #16 Nymph hook Body - 6/0 Black Thread Head - Peacock Herl Rib - Fine Silver Wire Gill - White Z-Lon My dog ripped up one of his toys, so I was thinking of using the stuffing as a substitute for the Z-Lon or I could use Rabbit for again Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
