slt5103 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2011 Don't use a log book, but I have different fly boxes set up for different streams with hatch charts with them. I don't like to count the fish I catch (superstition) but I do have a pretty good memory of where and what I caught.
sandflyx 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2011 just take a 1.00 note pad and jot down stuff, then when you get home go to WWW.mydailyfishinglog.com and enter your info. You can add pics too. then print out on 3 ring paper and store in a note book. been using this for the past 6 years. It's free !
smokinprice 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2011 I have been using a log book since 1998. I do enjoy it and find that I refer to it often to see what has worked in past years. I am on my third book. It does take time and determination to fill it out but it can be worth it. Trust me.
Laxi 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2011 DOn't buy books, just make your own in Excel! I did and it's great, I even let excel automatically calculate all kinds of statistics for me about my fishing!
