I have been fly fishing since I was 9 years old, and I was tying by 10 years old (I'm almost 32) I tied for 4 maybe 5 years and My Grandfather Taught me everything and I recently inherited all his gear. Mostly fly tying equipment. I have always been a very active fly fisherman, But like I said I haven't tied for quite a while. and with all this new gear I am eager to get back to tying. If you are looking to get back into tying, find new patterns ideas and ways to use different materials I think you are in the right place. My name is Corey, I am 25 and live in South Western Ontario between the great lakes. This makes for some good fishing within a few hours drive in any direction with all the rivers and tributaries. I just started fly fishing last year and have been tying for about 8 months or so now. I am an avid angler and have fished with spinning gear since I was knee high to a grape fruit but switching over to fly fishing has blown my mind and shown me a world that I did not know existed.
