hexfli 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 I've recently bought some UV Ice Dubbing and some UV krystal Flash, I got them because they looked sweet. Is there anything that this "UV" is supposed to do that normal colors don't?
Guest Report post Posted April 21, 2005 My understanding is that they are supposed to look like the described colors in the low light environment of deeper waters. Therefore your uv brown should look brown at the bottom of a deep run where the trout are. There is a distinct color shift in low light and these colors are supposed to compensate for that. Good luck with them! I tied up a bunch of nymph's over the winter using uv but have not had a good chance to try them out yet.
