  1. Sorry Druce I just now saw your question. I will post it here and then send you a pm as well. I use Select marabou with long fibers and clip about 6-8 of the fibers from the stem. Then tie them in together by the tips, then grab the thick end with my hackle pliers and twist the fibers together 3-4 times. You don't want to twist them too much. Then you are left with a marabou rope so to speak that as you wrap up the body makes a nice taper. I hope this is clear. Thanks.
