Rob, First thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, I am in Afghanistan – I will be damned if trout streams suffer from terrorism on our home soil. : ) In all seriousness I have less distractions from day to day life after missions to dedicate to fly tying. Hello everyone, Yet again, I am another recent subscriber to flytyingforums.com. I have been fly fishing for a little over a year. I just recently been deployed to Afghanistan and focusing what little free time I get to fly tying to become a more rounded fly fisherman. I wanted to further thank everyone who takes time out of their day to write reviews on the latest and greatest in the ever growing industry. It has helped me make better educated decisions on how to spend the hard earned money. I look forward to discussing new ideas or giving a review or two on the new products I buy to get me started.
