  1. FishyboY, Yes, I am familiar and use Tuffleye. I don't use it for the group tying/teaching sessions because of the cost, but a few guys have purchased there own. I now have a few jars of homemade head cement and flexement that will last us a awhile. Thanks buddy!
  2. Hello All, My name is Buster Brown and I am a fishaholic. Super excited to join such a global fly tying group. As flyfishing adventures take me around the globe, I am humbled by the scope and depth of this art and realize there is always more to learn. Thanks to all and a toast to benchside success and revelation!
  3. I will PM you, see if we have any common roots
  4. idahojake, Great Pics! I remember those storms fishing on the South and North forks. How is the run off looking this year?
  5. Great thanks! This really helps. I teach a group of beginning fly tyers who are going through the glue...
  6. Always hold. Saves oodles of times. I find if I put them down I end up trying to find them. Best place for them is on the hands. Just makes sure to watch the face when wrapping the dub. Came close to the face and eye balls a few times
  7. Any good head cement or flexible cements recipes out there? Head Cement: I am looking for something that penetrates fast to secure the hand whip finish. Flexement: I have heard that you can thin ShooGoo with toulol/toluene and get a version of the commercially available flexible cements, but yet to try this method. Or should I just get off the wallet and stick with the commercial goods? cheers,
