Mike, nice fly! Question what type of hook and what size?? I have a river I fish with tonnes of these flies on it and would like to tie it for fishing! for this fishable fly ,I use a buzzer hook in size 16.

for this first one , I've used some scotch tape with some natural wing , but I need it's wrong ...

What do you think of this , I tyie it last year , It is my first one realistic fishing fly, ( there is only the wings who are not good who are not artificial , because I 'll' don't need how to make it when I ' decide to try how to do this fly but now I know how to make nice pvc wings, we have many french tyiers winner at the mustad with nice flies ....... sorry for my english....... greeting, you speak for the realistic flies or for the hyper-realistic flies, I'll think for my first hyper-realistic fly to make a big fly with a carapace in époxy with a body in foam on big hook 11/0 game (11cm long) and all the finger with feathers parts....... What do you think of this idea ......????? I think I would tye it for a challenge.......
