Guest Report post Posted September 1, 2003 Does anyone know of an on-line source for Umpqua's Ezee Bug material? I have checked my usual on-line sites and did a Google search but did not find a source. Even Umpqua's site doesn't list it. Is it marketed by someone else under a different name? It looks like a bit like mohair or Hareline's Woolly Chennile in the picture of Mike Mercer's Rag Sculpin on the VFS Fly Tying Bench page. Appreciate any help. Thanks, Jack Messick
Guest Report post Posted September 3, 2003 I did a search myself and you right, I can't find a source for this material either! I'm sure somebody is carrying it
Guest Report post Posted September 3, 2003 I don't know the Umpqua material; probably never paid attention in a shop or whatever. Is this material similar to Aunt Lydia's Sparkle Yarn, available in craft stores?
Guest Report post Posted September 3, 2003 Here's a link to the fly that uses the material: http://shop.flyfishing.about.com/fly_archi...etails/1377.htm
Guest Report post Posted September 3, 2003 Thanks to all for the responses. Feather-Craft has it. I searched on the name listed with the fly I saw (ezee bug) but Feather-Craft lists it as "E-Zee Bug" http://www.feather-craft.com/products.asp?...d=5206&search=1 Jack
