SBPatt 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2015 Gonna hit some blue lines in 2 weeks; full of stupid cutts that love orange. hook - Dai Riki 300 #10 thread - UTC 140 pumpkin orange tail - deer hair dyed orange body - peacock herl/tying thread band thorax/pfd - butts from wing wing - deer hair dyed orange mash barb, start thread clean, stack, measure (shank length) a hefty clump of deer hair; trim to length 2 soft loops, pull tight, let it spin; trim butts, wrap to bend clean, stack, measure (shank length) a smaller bunch of deer hair; tie in/trim butts tie in some peacock, twist, wrap to 25% mark, tie off/trim smooth/thicken band with thread wraps, tie in peacock at 50% mark; twist, wrap to 75% mark, tie off/trim push deer hair back with finger; should be a 360 dispersal pull hair back and create a thread dam; continue wraps to build up thread head, half hitch x 2, SHHAN trim hair underneath Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
