You know what, we should start a thread where we can all post our CS2 and CS3 tutorials, and make it a sticky. It will keep all these handy tutorials in one place, and so we can all access them.

Nice shot Stu! Congrats!

Near Grand Forks?
Hey laker, was the first one HDR?
-
Gorgeous pics laker! BC is gorgeous! What part of BC is this?
Nice work there Graham! And thanks for the tut! The Lens flare adds to the photo!
-
Beautiful country! Keep it up!

Good pictures guys! With school and all, I haven't been out in weeks. I am going for some kings next weekend, so I'll be sure to take a ton there.
I'm surprised this isn't a sticky...

They were all bright light conditions, so there was no hope from the beginning
Maybe I shoulda tweaked the ISO...

Camera: Kodak Easyshare Dx7630
Shutter: 1/8
Apeture: 5.6
ISO: Auto
Sorry, can't put a circular polarizer on this camera...
Silky shallow water!
Took last winter, but a bit overexposed. It had a shutter speed of 1/2 sec. That plus handshake =
My first try at timed exposures ever...from my trip to India.
Sorry for that ugly timestamp, it was taken last year, when I didn't know how to turn it off. I don't remember the setting for this photo...
I have to wait til I get a DSLR before I can do the longer exposures and get better pics...so I can actually use a filter!

Beautiful pictures John!

There are several hawks and herons in the area that I can get close too, so as soon as I get my camera and lense, I'll go after them. Nice pics Graham!

JayMorr, you got it from Broadway? I've heard a lot of online camera scams...Isn't ShopCartUSA one of them too?
B&H, Amazon all have the Rebel Xti for around 700...
-
Yes Will, I'm looking for specific info/tutorials about that prog!
-
Very interesting Graham. Same, I haven't been photo hunting either, because if the start if school...
-
John (Wulff) swears by that lens for bird photography!
But first, tell me where the heck you picked up an Xti for 300? I've been looking around (Xti is probably what I'll get) and they're all around 600...

Those are nice! very crisp and bright!
-
That's some nice work Graham! Thanks for the link!

Graham answered the question!
Use a tripod, and pray that the heron won't move!
-
You know, I would of taken the risk and tried to get a long exposure with that heron...1-2 seconds. The milky water+the heron would be an amazing shot!
-
You'll sometimes see them in the PM river in MI when they wash over from trout ponds...
Here's one from a private trout pond. It was killed during a massive fish kill in that pond. The owner has no idea why the fish died...This is posted in BBT!
-
The first two are amazing! I like the vivid colors and reflections!
-
Do you guys have any good sites on how to process RAW images with programs like Adobe Camera Raw 3.7? I have CS2, so I can't use ACR 4.0 or higher...
-
The luminous-landscape site is very helpful! I bookmarked these links!
Thanks Graham!

The only bad thing about the pic is the sky was blown out, but there was not much i could do with my digi camera...
