Nice pics Mokai! Ypu never cease to amaze!
I've tried HDR with my digi camera, but I got mediocre results...Mostly because of a bad tripod and a lack of a cable shutter release.
HDR at night seems interesting!
You might remeber him, but Bassel (Bass) takes some wonderful HDR shots with his Rebel XTi:

I hope I didn't hijack the thread...

Welcome Will! Your photos are stunning!

Just because the 400 L is a expensive lense, I was looking at some of the Sigma lenses, and have any of you guys had any experience with the Sigma 135 400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG RF APO Aspherical Ultra Telephoto Zoom Lens?
I know it's slower than the 400mm L, but is there any other differences. I heard they're a bit noisy too...
-
Beautiful! I have to find out how to do that on CS3
-
Not at all! That is really gorgeous letumgo!
Good work!

Thanks for all the help John! I'll look into the XTi and the 400mm L.

Yes, there was a tornado warning for the neighboring county during that storm.
-
How would the Canon Digital Rebel XTi fare with the 400mm L?
-
Wulff, do you use a Canon or Nikon? If you use a Canon, what lenses do you use?
How do you guys feel on Sigma lenses? I heard that some are a great deal for the price, but they struggle with the AF in low light.

There has been a few severe thunderstorms passing through here the last couple days...so when I see one approaching, I just step outside to my backyard to take some shots. Here they are, nothing fancy, nothing special.

Nice pics guys! I can't wait to get a DSLR!

Welcome, and make sure to join the two sister sites!

Mmmmmm, milky water!
Love the shots!

That fish came from the Little Manistee on a white streamer...a zonker to be exact. We stayed in Ludington though.
Ludington is my favorite place on earth!
-
That's quite a funny pic, Ray!
Mark, Ludington is a great area! 20 years? If you ever come back up to MI, try to pay Ludington a visit again.
Did they have the House of Flavors in Ludington 20 years ago?

Yes, the first one was on Manual. It was a medium f-stop too...
Sorry about the background on the fish pic, it was either that, a bunch of fisherman, or the road.
Believe me, if there were no fisherman, the pic would be in the water with the river as the background....

Here were some shots from Ludington. I wasn't able to snap some of the gorgeous Lake Michigan sunsets because of the continuous rain...maybe next time
Some action shots...

Great shots guys!

Nice trout!

Thanks! I'm still waiting to upgrade to a DSLR, because I feel limited by my digi camera.
Sadly, I may not get one until November. Just will have to wait!

Maybe it lost its dentures?
