This fly is my original design used for streams containing cutthroat trout as this imitates a small cuttie good for catching a trophy fish feeding on cutties.

Ya lets go with 8 tiers, tie up an effective pattern that usually always gets the job done on the lake LOL. I have to get a few materials and i will tie up something deadly . hha

Hey Im thinking of getting the LOOP 8 wt adventure combo as a set up for pike. Anyone use this set up? Is it nice?

Can somebody start a fly swap for pike flies??? I got a nice pattern I can tie up. And it would be cool to see what others use to catch the big ones.

ok, I guess I meant to say aluminum... And I will be catching fairly large northern pike so i need something with quality but I don't need it to be really expensive. Something along the lines of an orvis hydros

Looking to get an 8wt fly reel and just wondering what a quality reel would be around $150. I Like islander but they are expensive. Amundson looks good too. I want a stainless steel reel, that is colored gold. -That is why I like the precision reels. So what are similar reels to the precision make that are in my price range. Also I need a fly rod to match the reel. This set up is for Northern Pike fishing. I'll need a sick line for the reel as well. LOL Is It true that a bright colored fly line will scare away pike in shallow water 6- 12 ft? Help me out please...!

Hey, I am going to be fishing a river in central Alberta that has big browns in it. They typically like feeding on the small spawning cutts that inhabit their water. Anybody got some good recipes for a 4-5 inch cutthroat? I have heard the double bunny with a pink belly, and white back works. Pics or advice would be helpful. Thanks forum members
